[Complete] Show Your Disney Side!

Alright let's get this underway! Tory and I are so excited for the final product

Theme: Each part should feature yourself talking about your Disney Side along with any material the you choose, whether it is home movies, pictures, clips from Disney movies, promotional footage, whatever! For example, do you Disney bound? Do you sing Disney songs at the top of your lungs? Do you just think of a certain Disney character when you're going through a tough time? As long as your part shows off that side of you that emerges when you interact with Disney -- the side that laughs louder, says "yes" more often, and lives life to the fullest -- the sky is the limit!

~ Please render your parts in widescreen and preferably of high quality. We want to see your beautiful faces clearly!
~ Parts should be around 1min
~ NO WATERMARKS (I will place your names on the finished product like the video above)
~ No sparkles, texture overlays, or colorings on your part please as it may be a distraction from what we wanna focus on which is you and how you show your disney side! ^_^

I'm in, but I have a question. I've heard it being said a lot, but what does Disney bound even mean? and I know you and Tory probably haven't thought this other question far ahead, but when is this due? because I've had this really cool idea for my part where I would love to do it at DL on the 24 hour day, but it's towards the end of May. You get to dress up in costume for it and that kinda goes with my Disney side cause I love dressing up even though I'm an adult. hahaha. plus the event is all about "Rockin' Your Disney Side" (if you are confused you can read about it in the link below). and how long should our part be? Would that date be to far away?

Disneybounding is the term used on tumblr that refers to dressing up as contemporary versions of Disney characters. You can get a better idea of what this looks like by looking at its official tumblr page. I see it in the parks a lot, and it's always super cute -- some people even go a step further on Dapper Day by wearing Dapper-style Disneybound outfits.

As for due date, I had assumed we'd just wait until we had a good number of submissions and then set a date, but it's great you brought up the Rock Your Disney Side event (I'll no doubt be working it! LOL). I don't know if we'll need two and a half months to finish this MEP, though...though I'd love to see how you'd dress for that day!!

oh lol kk then I must disneybound all the time without even realizing it. I went as a dapper Wendy Darling this past year or at least tried to haha (notice my profile picture and yes it looks like my dress is black, but trust me it was blue).

omg if I see you there I'll say hi and I found out where my friend Tami is working in DL now and kk cause the way I show my Disney side is by trying to go to their multiple events like the Halloween party (last year with Saskau), Dapper Day (this past year), and the 24 hour day at DL (last year and again this year). Plus the bonus this year at the 24 hour day guests can dress up (where if there is opportunity I will do it) and I was debating dressing up as Kevin (the bird from UP) or Peter Pan. I was thinking Peter, for 1 I already have the hat, and 2 I feel by going 2 DL during these events its like I become a kid again, 3 Peter is the cutest and the ultimate Disney kid. Also, its like the day of showing guest's Disney sides.

I knew that the 2 1/2months was a long stretch, but I just had to ask lol I'm too Disney crazy

I'm so in! and the awesome thing is I found my camera and it still works!
And how long do the videos have to be? a minute? less? more? lol

I can't wait to see you both!! Can you PM/email me where she works so I can go find her?

As for length, I'd say around a minute. It can be a little more or a little less, but we don't want the video to be too long -- everyone deserves their turn.

of course I'll email you but just to let you know she's a little shy and if/when you first meet her I'd go with mentioning to her that you are the koolkitty first and then Tory because I know she remembers kitty, but sometimes has a hard time remembering Tory. lol

I was planning to do my video when my school semester ended (which is the end of next week), but I got an infection in my eye recently (won't go into detail, but it's kind of bad) and I don't want to record myself with it (I look weird... lol). Doctor said it will take about 2-3 to clear up so... I guess I'll keep you guys posted

As a reminder, this MEP is due in less than a month...so keep thinking about your part and what you plan to include in it if you've yet to complete yours!

eep the date is getting so close O.O lol I'll be doing all my recording on the 23rd, but I probably can't edit till after the 1st of May since I will have my friend over and then I'll be going on a short trip with my dad. Therefore, I should have it completed by the 6th

quick question. are we allowed to have music in the background? cause I know some of the pros showed their Disney side by singing. For my part I was thinking about singing the first verse from "do you want to build a snowman?", but alter the lyrics to better explain my Disney side since I'll be Rockin' my Disney side this Friday at the 24hr day in Disneyland. I will be dressed as Anna and record my part then, that's why I thought of that song. it would only be about 40 seconds of {an altered version of the} song and 20 seconds of further explanation. PLEEEEAAASSSEE

I'd say if it is just a piece of your video, then yes, but even a 40 second segment that couldn't be cut up would limit Samie (or me, whoever in the end edits this together) in how much we can edit your video. Since we want the finished product to look something like a longer version of this, we would want to have the ability to sew all of the videos together like a patchwork quilt, and it would be a shame if we had to cut up a song sequence to make it fit in a certain pattern, especially something that sounds so creative! I would almost suggest for you to do the altered song separately and upload it to your channel -- it sounds so cute, and I would hate to interrupt or cut short your effort!!
