[CLOSED] Alice (Underground) 2nd Anniversary MEP

Theme: Each of our members transform (whether through falling asleep and dreaming, daydreaming, falling down a rabbit hole, casting a spell, whatever) into their DFGS representative character. 

~*~Rules~*~
+You should use filmed footage of yourself and footage of your DFGS-representative character. You may use other footage as backgrounds or effects (example: I could put my image in the Magic Mirror from Snow White and mask Nausicaa looking into it, but I would not be allowed to show the Evil Queen from Snow White transforming me into Nausicaa -- if I were represented by Snow White, however, I could use the Evil Queen in my part), but try to keep it focused on your character, her film, and you.
+Each piece should be in widescreen format and of good quality. 
+Any sparkles, textures, overlays, borders, watermarks, etc. are okay!
+Please also include separately from your MEP part some video of you smiling, waving, laughing, winking, making faces, or whatever to the camera! These clips will be used in the intro alongside a clip of your rep character. 
+Have fun and be creative!!

But am I allowed to change my rep character? Is Mulan taken? I feel weird having Jane be my rep for this because... yeah...

Mulan is unfortunately already someone else's rep character...if you do want to change your rep character with the studio, you can, but if it's an issue of visual similarities, it TOTALLY doesn't matter. Heck, I'm still going to keep my hair curly and my glasses on even though I'm becoming Nausicaa. The idea is that you become the character we already associate with you in our studio, since in a way that's what we're celebrating -- our editing, creativity, and diversity as members.

Still, if you'd like to change your character, here's a list of current members/characters...

You can only use a different character for this MEP if you also intend to change the character that represents you in DFGS -- I'd like it if we used the characters that we have chosen to represent us online, so as to symbolize the almost "transformation" that we go through between our real and Internet lives, rather than just to a character we happen to really like.

Of course...though as I said to Nuriko, visual similarities TOTALLY don't matter.

I know, but still, it would only be prettier and much fitting if it was like that! (just my opinion)

I understood that I couldn't change it, I don't wanna use Jasmine anymore. I was only gonna use her because I kind of look like her, not cuz I really like her. You look like Nausicaa so that's what I thought we were doing. So I'll just use Anya since she's my rep character and cuz our personalities are similar

Ohhhh, okay, love. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I think a part with Anya with that section would be really epic anyway.

quick question. for the clips that you need for the intro, should it be a face shot (head to shoulders)? waist shot (head to waist)? or profile shot (head to toes)? or does it matter? and how long of film should it be? i didn't even think about asking this until my friend txt'd me asking since she'll be recording me for my part saturday. i hope this makes sense.

That's a great question -- intro shots should preferably be Medium Close Up (MCU) shots, focusing on the face but also showing the neck, shoulders and sometimes the top of the chest. So that would be head to shoulders or the top of the chest.

I'm sorry but I have really bad news...My computer is going through some issues right now (it won't turn on) so I can't work on ANYTHING!
I don't know when the problem is gonna be fixed because I haven't even been home this past few weeks...
If it gets fixed before the deadline I will try to make my part but please understand that it will still be very difficult.
I'm sorry for all the trouble...

It's okay, honey -- we still have a whole month to work on this, so there is time to possibly fix your computer. If not, don't worry about it -- I or someone else can fill your part if need be.

Just a reminder to keep pecking away at your MEP parts for this, since our deadline will be in three weeks!

i'll prob have it turned in sometime in 2 weeks. my one friend is going to help me record it next week, bless her. but i should have it turned in soon.
