Theme: The most tragic, tear-jerking character deaths in movies -- for example, Mufasa in The Lion King; Padme, Anakin's mother, Obi Wan Kenobi, or Darth Vader in Star Wars; James and Lily Potter, Sirius Black, or Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter films; Jack Dawson in Titanic; Robbie Turner in Atonement; Bambi's mom from Bambi; Phil Coulson in The Avengers; Thorin, Fili, or Kili from The Hobbit films; etc.
